Hello again, i guess you have all heard of the revolution in the graphics world that is coming up. well if you haven't, i did... In the last few months (maybe even a year) Microsoft has released the new operating system - Windows Vista. Many people that have seen this OS have admited that this os has a very high standart of system requirements, mostly it is because this os is full of impressive graphic additions. more over, A window manager for linux (that has lots of graphic features too) is also being developed right at these moments and this window manager is called "Compiz Xgl". Compiz Xgl works great with OpenGL and mostly, it requires less than Windows Vista. Those graphic changes will sure change the requirement of computers if it is in graphic cards, virtual memories, processors and more and not to talk about the money that those changes will require. I am not saying that those changes are bad, in fact, I agree that the human eye catches A lot more data when this data is being presented more visually. Despite this, i do think that not all data should be presented visually.. Some data (as for my opinion) is too complex/sensetive for being presented that visually, not to talk of the speed that the data will be transferred if all of the data will be viewed that visually (it will get a lot more slower). In conclusion, i will only say that i think that sometimes, we are better off without the heavy graphics. good luck!! dracula4ever
