cracking /etc/shadow

    does anyone knows to crack hashs of /etc/shadow fast? im talking about md5(unix), i only know one site which handles the job that is cmd5.ru, i've tried john the ripper but speeds are very low, perhaps anyone know other website that can do this job?

    these websites are for md5, not "md5(unix)"..
