Sorry; I don't know Russian... I want to test Reaver functionality on my own router. Reference: Reaver targets the external registrar functionality mandated by the WiFi Protected Setup specification. Access points will provide authenticated registrars with their current wireless configuration (including the WPA PSK), and also accept a new configuration from the registrar. So, I want to configure WPS/WSC via external registrar method. Please see this Emulator Example: http://suporte.dlink.com.br/suporte/emuladores/DSL/DSL-2640B/wlsecurity2.html Set WSC AP Mode = Configured or UnConfigured Config AP WSC Add External Registrar How do I do this, I mean what steps to follow ? Thanks,
@user100 ..... No, It will make me Enrolle. I want to Configure all security settings with an external registar. Actually, I want to configure WPS/WSC via external registrar method. (NOT ENROLEE) I want to test Reaver functionality.
Using WPS Function via Web-based Interface To add the PIN method of the WPS function, follow the next steps: 1. Select the WPS Enable checkbox. 2. Click the Change button. 3. Select the PIN value from the WPS Method drop-down list. 4. Use the reaver.
@user100 I want to Configure all security settings with an external registar. It means that I want to use Router's PIN in my Windows 7. But what buttons should I click from below link ? http://suporte.dlink.com.br/suporte/emuladores/DSL/DSL-2640B/wlsecurity2.html - Установите WSC Режим AP = Заданная или не настроенным - Конфигурация AP - WSC Добавить внешнего регистратора Regards,
I enabled WSC and set WSC "configured" and used Router's PIN in Windows 7 but it says "unsuccesful" What is the meaning of following? Set WSC AP Mode = Configured or UnConfigured Config AP WSC Add External Registrar
External Registrar - it's the device which can configure your Access Point (AP) via WSC protocol. It can be a computer (with Windows 7), some mobile device, etc. You can configure your AP only when it's in unconfigured state. In configured state you can only recieve configuration - SSID, Security and Pre-Shared Key. To configure your AP via External Registrar or to recieve configuration from it, you'll need to specify the WSC PIN code. And the last... reaver can not be used to configure your AP. It can only recieve configuration from already configured AP. You can use Windows 7 as external registrar to configure your AP, and it should be in unconfigured state. Well, I hope I've clearly explained.
I have set my AP in unconfigured state. What should I do next ? Should I click Config AP or WSC Add External Registrar ? Please see this Emulator Example: http://suporte.dlink.com.br/suporte/emuladores/DSL/DSL-2640B/wlsecurity2.html
I think... a) If you click Config AP then the AP will wait for client. - Client will send configuration with PIN code to AP. b) WSC Add External Registrar is unavailable in this emulator, but I presume this scenario: - Router web interface will ask you for client PIN code, it differs from router PIN - You need to start WPS on your device (Windows 7 or some mobile device) - The device will show you its PIN code and will wait for your router to connect via WSC - You enter client PIN code in the web interface of your router and click accept button (or something like that) - Then the router will connect to device, and the device will provide you configuration interface. I can show you an example for a) with Windows 7: (click to enlarge)

I want to configure WPS/WSC via external registrar method (NOT ENROLEE) so that I can test Reaver functionality.
I don't know how to do it practically. Maybe you read the manual of your router or use Google to search for it..?
